Reserve Grand Champion animal was owned by Alice Shoenly, Barto. In the Showmanship contest first place honors went to the following: Ist year member Paul Plum mer, Chalfont; ages 8-11 Mary Bradshaw, North Wales; ages 12- 19 Carol Weaver, Harleysville; under 7 years Amy Plummer, Chalfont. Carol Weaver was selected as Champion Showman. In the Fitting contest Christine McMenamin in the 8 to 11 age group took Cham pion, while first place honors were awarded to: Ist year member Paul Plummer, Chalfont; ages 12- 19 Christine Weaver, Harleysville. The goats were also judged by age groups. Mary Bradshaw took Champion Junior Doe honors while Senior Champion was Christine Mc- Menamm Scheduled HONESDALE Get new ideas - m crafts and quilting from two outstanding exhibits at The American Craft Museum in New York City. The National Quilt Show wtuch has been on tour will be at the museum starting November 4. The permanent collection at the museum features crafts in every media. The Cooperative Extension Service is sponsoring a bus on November 17 at a cost of $lO a person. It will leave the Wayne County Courthouse, Honesdale, at 8:00 am, arriving at the museum in New York at 11:15 am The group will leave New York at 5:00 pm, have dinner enroute at a Ponderosa Steak House and arrive in Honesdale shortly after 9:00 pm There is no entry fee to the museum as the Extension Service is a non-profit organization. Lunch and dinner will be paid for in dividually. Your reservation is assured by having your $lO to the Extension Office by November 3. This Is on a first come basis.
