Berks Goatberders to meet LEESPORT The Berks Goatberders will hold their next meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the conference room at the Berks Co. Ag. Center, Leesport. The guest speakers will be Fern Ensslen and Ray Riegel, co owners of the Pagoda Laboratory, Inc., 2550 Kutztown Rd., Reading. Their lab is equipped for testing milk, food and water. They will speak on the proper handling of milk and milk testing procedures at the lab. Fem Ensslen has many years behind her in lab work and will discuss the significance of lab procedures. Ray has had many years out on the farm thru health and food inspection and will go into good milking practices. The second part of our program will be a follow up to the Club’s sponsored Cheese Workshop held in April, 1983.
