Buckwheat Institute to meet at PennAg Convention EPHKATA - Mi George Blankley, President of the Buckwheat Institute ot America, will preside at the Buckwheat institute meeting during the PennAg Convention held Sep tember 25-28lh at Seven Springs Resort, Champion, Pennsylvania. During the meeting, production reports will be given from representatives of Maine, Min nesota, North and South Dakota, and also Winnipeg. Canada. More local reports will be given from representatives of New York and Pennsylvania and will entail, the quantity of buckwheat-sewn acreage local to them, and the condition of the crop as of meeting lime. Some of the buckwheat will have been harvested in these areas, so yield/acre as well as quality ot crop reports will also be given. Other segment* ot the meeting will attend to concerns troin a consumer standpoint, and the representative trom Japan, the largest importer ot buckwheat, will report. Also, a discussion ot production competition from South American, South Africa and China is scheduled.
