Captures Two Firsts LEESPOKT - Thirty-six 4-H members from Berks County participated in State 4-H Achievement Days at Penn State. Results were as follows: Bringing home a first place award was the dairy team of Patti Dreisbach, Hamburg; Charles Seidel, Lenhartsville; Todd Miller, Hamburg; and Harold Dietnch, Hamburg, who also won third individually. Also winning a first place award was the horses team of Tracey Picus, Wescosville; Jan Sechler, Mertztown; Carol Sell, Kutztown; and Michelle Swavely, Barto. Tracey Picus placed first in dividually. The poultry team of Allen Bates, Leesport; Brian Moyer, Leesport; and Mark Price, Douglassville, won second place, with Allen Bates placing first individually and Mark Price placing fifth. Sandy Moser, Bally; Deborah Price, Douglasville; Clark Sat tazahn, Womesldorf; and Doris Stump, Bernville, members of the dairy team, brought home a fourth place honor.
