Heifers .50-.75 higher. Cows 1.50-2.50 lower. Bulls steady. Much of the steer advance oc curred in Wednesday’s trading when commodity interests pushed to t-uy cattle suitable for C.M.E. deliveries Aside from these, most fed cattle up .50-.75 in price in spite of an unstable beef market and what are generally viewed as unfavorable porfit margins for packers.
