Berks holds hydroponic seminar LEESPORT - The Berks County Extension Service will be spon soring a hydroponic growers’ seminar on Wednesday, Feb. 2 from 9:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Ag Center. According to County Agent Judy Stoudt, this seminar is designed for updating .hydroponic vegetable growers with information on crop culture, sanitation, marketing, and disease control. Penn State’s Michael Orzolek, vegetable specialist, will discuss cultural facts, while co-worker Alan McNab, plant pathologist, will review disease control.- Schuylkill County Agent George Perry will cover marketing.
