McConaughey, sold for a record-breaking $6.50 a pound to Kuzemchak Trucking of Fallen Timber. The 240-pound Duroc gilt was sired by HP Host and was Darlene’s first grand champion hog at the Indiana County Fair in her ten-year 4-H career. Joe Defelice’s Family Restaurant and Slaughterhouse of Punxsutawney was the contending bidder on the Grand Champion Hog and purchased the Reserve Champion Hog for $3.50 a pound. The 215-pound Duroc-Berkshire cross was shown by Donald Bishop of Homer City and was purchased at the McConaughey-Winebark feeder pig sale. The Grand Champion Hog Carcass was exhibited by Jan Kathy Bishop of Homer City sold her Grand Champion Market Lamb to Elkin Concrete of Indiana represented by Richard Elkin, right, for $5.45 a pound. Lightcap of Marion Center and sold for $4.10 a pound to Ed Rellick Meat Market.
