Little did the fans know that before Oriole hurler Dennis Martinez offered his first pitch, the stage was set for another com petition a pregame milk-off. Earlier that day, Baltimore’s Mayor Schaeffer signed a proclamation officially designating “June is Dairy Month in Baltimore ” Suddenly, the “World’s Largest Cow,” a helium-filled balloon slowly rose above the scoreboard. Milk Night at Memorial Stadium was about to begin.
