Wylie Oxford Chapter Oxford High School William T. Wylie, son ot Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Wylie Jr., Octorara Farms, Lees Bridge, is president of his FFA chapter, as well as the Chester County FFA. He has also served as sentinel and assistant treasurer of his chapter. He works on the Octorara Farms, a 700-acre beef, swine and crop production operation, which consists of 70 head of purebred Angus cattle, 20 Yorkshire sows and cropping of corn, soybeans and hay. He has been active in the showing ot beet cattle and has participated in many national livestock judging contests as a representative from Penn sylavania. Yarnall,, 2000 Newark Road, Oxford. Her committee posts have in cluded leadership, recreation, banquet and dairy judging. Among her awards have been a tirst place in the Dairy Showman Contest at Penn State, a silver medal at the National Dairy Showman Contest in Kansas City, chapter proficiency awards in horse and dairy. She was a Penn sylvania delegate to the National Institute ot Cooperative Education in Fort Collins, Col. and participated in the Southeastern District Dairy Show. She is a member ot the Manor 4- H Dairy Club, the Bucktoe 4-H Horse and Pony Club of which she is president, Russellville Grange 91 and is Chester County’s alter nate dairy princess. Her hobbies include showing horses and cows and sewing. Cumberland County Vicki Basehore Cumberland Valley Chapter Cumberland Valley High Vicki Basehore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul G. Basehore, 238 Ridge Hill Rd., Mechanicsburg, has served as secretary of her chapter for the past two years. A dairy heifer and field corn have been her mam projects. She is presently serving as chairman of the National FFA Week, livestock and dairy, picnic and membership committees, along with membership on Penn- Best Sale, banquet, trip and executive committees. Jeff Brlcker Cumberland Valley Chapter Cumberland Valley High Jeff Bricker is the son of Ken- neth and Virginia Bncker, 489 Rich Valley Rd., Carlisle. His projects include vegetable garden, swine finishing, sheep breeding, lamb finishing and a work experience project book. Among his committee assign ments have been chairman of finance, citrus fruit sale, Penn- Best Sale and sports groups, as well as membership on trip, calendar sale, awards, banquet and executive groups. His offices range from junior chaplain and junior sentinel to historian and treasurer for his chapter. He has won various awards for showing sheep and hogs, bronze in livestock judging at FFA Activities Week, first in junior sheep showmanship at Carlisle Fair, national recognition from the USNAA, second in blocking and grooming and third in junior fitting at the Carlisle Fair. Other activities include All- American Dairy Judging fWum, KILE Junior Stockman Contest, Eastern National Junior Stockman Contest, chapter delegate to national convention, tractor driving contest, county and area parliamentary procedure contest, county leadership training workshop and chapter creed speaking cointest. f He plans to continue to build his' flock of sheep and work on a dairy farm.
