Other activities have included membership in the school band and in the Junior Bowling League. He plans to study Environmental Resource Management at Penn State. Among his hobbies are bowling, working on improvement projects, showing dairy cattle and collec ting. Chester County Larry E. Landis Octorara Chapter Octorara High School The projects of Larry E. Landis, son of Milton and Thelma Landis, R 2, Parkesburg, have included fabricating an iron ladder for ctuckenhouse dock, making a decorative mailbox post, restoring a 1941 Farmall tractor and making a model barn. He has served as chairman ot the calendar and scrapbook com mittees and was a member ot the Food for America committee. His FFA offices have been chapter reporter and vice president and county reporter. Among his awards have been a gold in the state record book 717-665-2141 competition, and a district award from Production Credit. He took a first in crafts at the New Holland Farm Show and a first in the county parliamentary procedure team competition. He attended the Washington Leadership Training Conference and the national convention. He is a member of the Old Road Mennomte Church and Chorus, vice president of the Youth Fellowship and member of the Lancaster County Poultry Association. He will continue to be involved with the family farm and hopes to expand the 45,000-layer operation. Collecting antique toys and games, hunting and crafts are his hobbies. Steve March Owen J. Roberts Chapter Owen J. Roberts High Steve March, son ot Mr. and Mrs. Frank March Jr., RD, Glenmoore, is president of his FFA chapter. He has also served as chapter reporter. His projects during fours years of FFA have been dairy heifer, cow and bull, garden, veal calf, field corn and working for experience. Roberts High Eric Mienzenger, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mienzenger, 1207 Township Road, Phoenixville, has had projects which have included eight hives of honey bees, 50 pheasants, 100 layers and 300 poultry replacements. He served on the budget and citrus fruit committees. His FFA offices include treasurer and county chaplain. He has also served as state and chapter beekeeper. April Plumley Owen J. Roberts Chapter Owen J. Roberts High April L. Plumley, daughter ot Kenneth and Mary Ellen Plumley, Ebelhare Road, Rl, Pottstown, has had projects in Brown Swiss and Holstein dairy animals, quarter horse and Angus and Holstein beef. She served on the banquet committee for four years and two years on the public relations committee. She was awarded a blue ribbon at the Southeastern Dairy Show for her Brown Swiss and Holstein. She also won a first in Holstein Junior Calf and at the Pa. Junior Dairy Show at the All-American she took (Turn to Page D3l)
