Conservation District needs antlers HARRISBURG Deer hunters are asked to donate unwanted deer antlers and antlers from other members of the deer family to the Dauphin County Conservation District. The Conservation District will use a deer antler study program established by the Pennsylvania Game Commission as part of its Environmental Education Program for Dauphin County schools. This study program can only be implemented if a sufficient quantity of antlers can be ob tained. Hunters are not asked to part with trophy racks, but if they hav.* an average rack nailed on some forgotten shed, they could be. better used by allowing children the opportunity to examine nature’s miracle of antler growth. If you can assist with their search for antlers, call the Con servation District at 717/652-7048, or drop them off at the office in the Lower Paxton Township Municipal Building, 75 S. Houcks Road, Room #305, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
