Twin Valley dominates wildlife contest EL VERSON - The Twin Valley FFA Chapter dominated com petition in the southeastern Pennsylvania FFA Wildlife management contest at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management area on Nov. 18. More than 78 FFA members from Lancaster, Berks, and Lebanon counties competed in the annual event. This contest requires students to complete a written test pn wildlife management, identify 10 -Penn sylvania birds from a list of over 80, identify 10 mammals from over 80, identify 10 reptiles and am phibians, 10 fish, 10 wildlife tracks, 10 wildlife signs, 10 bird calls, 10 wildlife foods and identify species which would be found in various habitats. Top Twin Valley student was Wade Bernard, - Chapter vice president and son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bernard, R 2, Elverson. A senior at Twin Valley, he captured first place in the three-county contest. He won a silver medal in the state FFA contest at Penn State last June. Capturing second place in Berks county and fourth-place- overall was Pam Trostle, chapter reporter, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Trostle, R 1 Mohnton.
