She reviewed the demonstrations on how to make a rope halter, the workshop on fitting and showmanship, the Adams County Holstein Association tour and twilight meeting, the fun spent at the William Grove Amusement Park, as well as the county round up show and the district and state shows. Among the award winners announced at the banquet, was John Clowney, who was presented a leather halter from Atlantic Breeders Cooperative for his leadership work accomplished in the club and a nbbon and check for his fifth-place finish in the judging part of the All-American show held in Harrisburg. Other winners were Margaret Todt, who won the Senior member award, while Carol 717-687-6801 FREE ESTIMATES Hobaugh won the Junior member award. All the 4-H’ers were given a merit ribbon for each finished project and a certificate for a completed year. The champions of the county Round-Up were announced with Lane Mummert winning the first place Mini-Showman position and Keith Waybrigtat taking second; Karen Hobaugh was named first place fitter with Jennifer Weuner named as runner-up; Margaret Todt was chosen the first place showman and Laurie Ridinger came in second.
