Team members included Brian and Susanne Kelly of Tyrone, Ken Hoover and Darrell Clapper. The second place 4-H team represented Berks County and accumulated 1015 points. There were 32 FFA teams competing. Team members were Darrell Gocklev of Mohnton, Kevin Roth of New Holland, Carolyn Witmer of East Earl, and Ronald Martin of Narvon. The Northern Bedford FFA Chapter placed second with a score of 998. Their team was comprised of Todd Hall of Hopewell, Beth Smith and Mark Swope of Roaring' Spring, and Harry Brubaker from New Enterprise. The Owen J. Roberts FFA Chapter from Chester County captured third with 989 points. Team members included Leslie Schofield of Pottstown, David and Allen March of Glenmore, and Todd Berry of Elverson.,
