D36—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, September 19,1981 Apply for anterless license HARRISBURG - Anterless deer license applications will be accepted from Penn sylvania resident hunters beginning Monday, October 5. Anterless deer licenses are issued by county treasurers, and, ac cording to law, “shall be issued without restriction or regard to the county residence of the Pennsylvania ap plicant.” When applying for an anterless license, the hunter must mail the antlerless application to the county treasurer. The lone exception will be for applications to hunt anterless deer in Potter County. Persons requesting anterless licenses are reminded; Only the original anterless deer license application form issued with the hunter’s license shall be valid for making application. No person is per mitted to apply for more than one anterless deer license under any cir cumstances. The application cannot be transferred by the person receiving ( it or used by any other person to apply for a license. County treasurers may accept applications by standard first class mail delivered through and by the U.S. Postal Service beginning Monday, Octobers. Applications must conform to the following regulations; The form must be legibly completed in its entirety in accordance with printed in structions. The application (s) must be mailed only in the official yellow en velope. Not more than three applications may be submitted per envelope. The appropriate pre printed number on the outside of the envelope, indicating the number of applications en closed, must be circled in ink. The first and last name and legal home address of any one of the applicants must be printed on the front top left comer of the en velope. The green “return” envelope, with sufficient first class postage af fixed, and self addressed to any one of the applicants must be enclosed with the ap plication (s). Remittance, at $3.35 for each application, must be in the form of a negotiable check or money order payable to “County Treasurer.” (Payable to “Pa. Game Commission” for Potter County anterless licenses). When more than one application is mailed in the same envelope, if any one of the ap plications fails to comply with regulations, all ap plications will be rejected.
