A24—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, September 12,1981 UNIVERSITY PARK - Sum mer sun and flowers may be fading, but everything will be in full bloom when the 1981 Hor ticulture Show opens at Penn State Flower Gardens today and tomorrow. Beneath two big-top tents, visitors will find an array of summer colors. The colors will illustrate practical ideas that can be used to brighten the home landscape. The event is sponsored by the Penn State Horticulture Club. The show opened today at 10 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m. September 13, tomorrow the hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be located across from East Halls, Park Avenue and Shortlidge Road, near the football stadium. Ad mission and parking will be free. This is the 68th Annual Hor ticulture Show. This year’s exhibits will offer opportunities tor visitors to use ideas trom the exhibits to fit their own needs.
