Instead, the Thomas Dums,lU, of Landisburg commemerated that special day on Wednesday with ribbons, mostly blue, and Premier Exhibitor and Breeder banners. The Dumbelle Farms couple were among the many exhibitors at a three-m-one dairy show at the Perry County Community Fair Grounds. The multiple event included the 4-H Dairy Club Roundup, FFA competition and an open dairy show for breeders of Holstems and color breeds. Show judge Paul King of Kmgway Farms, Delta, chose Dumbelle Peachum Ingrid as Grand Champion All-Breed Cow. The 2-year-old, bred to Elevation, also captured Grand Champion Holstein and Senior awards. The Grand Champ is sired by Wilbar Pride Admiral Peachum and out of Dumbelle Lift-Off Irene. The Dum’s DA-MS-TD Milu Holliday took home Reserve Junior Champion Holstein honors. The semor yearling is sired by Milu Bety Ivanhoe Chief and out of Holliday Pinoma Bootmaker. At one point in the competition, five of the Dum’s 12 entries qualified for the Semor Champion class. Before the all-day event ended, Dumbelle Farms also earned ribbons for Best Three Females and top Holstein Herd. Milierstown breeders, Kenneth and Jane Benner also compiled a lenghty list of winners. Their 4- year-old Bootmaker daughter was named Reserve Grand Champion All-Breed Cow. Santee Bootmaker Stylish also took Reserve Grand and Semor Champion Holstein honors. Iq addition, their entries collected Best Udder, Semor Get of Sire, Produce of Dam and Dam- Clifton Brubaker, 13, displays the Grand Champion Jersey at the Perry County Dairy Show on Wednesday. This is the fourth year Brubaker has shown Napoleon Peanut Duchess otherwise known around the barnyard as “Bambi." Brubaker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Brubaker, Loysvitie. But Kling managed to latch on to this big gentle Swiss long enough to take Grand Champion Brown Swiss honors. The Champ, Cottage Home Mina Joy Princess is a 5-year-old. celebrate Daughter as well as several in dividual class awards. A senior yearling, owned by Rodney Albright, Landisburg, captured Junior Champion honors. Alrada Elevation Pancake, an Elevation daughter is out of Ha-Ma BDI Governor Pabst-OC-B. FFA’er Brian Jacobs, Lan disburg, exhibited a Kit Builder daughter. His entry was named Reserve Junior All-Breed Champion. In the color breed competition, Clifton Brubaker's 4-year-old Jersey was named Grand Champion Jersey. The Loysville breeder’s Napoleon Peanut Duchess, also the Senior Cham pion, is sired by Summetz Morgan Napoleon and out of Peerless Nomad Julie Peanut. Judge King chose Henry Holman’s Junior Champion as Reserve Grand Champion Jersey. Beckys Green Acres Bessie, the Duncannon breeder’s senior yearling entry is sired by Green Acres Napoleon Hercules and out of Elaines Becky Irene. Landisburg breeder, Brian Rock exhibited two Jersey champs. His semor calf, Rocky Run Chocolate Molly was named Junior Reserve Champion. She os sired by Ob server Chocolate Santa and out of Rocky Run Superb Louella. Rock’s aged cow entry. Beauty Sunny Brook Lolly Pop was chosen as Reserve Semor Champ. The 6- year-old Jersey is sired by Ad vancer Sleeping Milestone and out of Sunny Brook Crowning Beauty. The Brown Swiss competition ended with Sandra Klmg’s 5-year old entry on top. The Landisburg exhibitor’s Cottage Home Mina Joy Princess was Grand and Semor Champion Swiss. The Champion is sired by Ebenezer Verna’s Beau and out of Cottage Home Mina’s Joy. Todd Cauffman, Milierstown, exhibited the Reserve Semor and Grand Champion Swiss.
