Richard Nissley family will be conducting tasting of their award winning wines such as the gold medal white ' wine called Aurora. The tastings will be held until 5 p.m. amidst the <4,000 gallon tanks used for producing and storing the Nissley wines. Wine lovers will be especially interested in two white wines recently released by Nissley Vineyards Chardonnay and Johannisberger Riesling. Although Chardonnay and Riesling grapes afe grown widely in Europe and California, the Southeastern Pennsylvania climate has, until recently, been considered hostile to these varieties. In fact, Nissley Vineyards is the first winery in Lancaster County to produce these wines.
