Cumberland County to crown dairy princess BIG SPRING —-This year the Cumberland County Dairy Prin cess Pageant will feature a theme, Wed nesday, June 17, at 8 p.m. in the Big Spring High School Auditorium. > Vying for the title will be Vida Basehore, 16, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Basehore, Mechanicsburg; Paula Hosfelt, 17, daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. Paul L. Hosefelt, Shippensburg, and Cindy Witmer, 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel P. Witmer, Ship pensburg. Some of her outside interests in- that, the Goose Management Area. The former Wild Turkey Farm near Barbours, Lycoming County, has been renamed and is now designated at the Northcentral Game Farm. The facility is currently being converted to raise ringneck pheasants. When in full production by 1964-it’s anticipated the farm will produce about 45,000 birds annually.
