President Glenn Mummert opened the business meeting by introducing guests from the Agri business community and ex pressed appreciation for their support during the year. State Guernsey Breeders Association Field Representative, Lee Yost, expressed his thanks to Ginger Myers and Ruth Benedict for their part in making the State Association’s 50th Anniversary Celebration a success. Yost then gave a report on the business matters of the State Association. Ruth Benedict, also of the State Association, gave ad ditional reports on the Celebration and explained the new dues structure. Mention was also made regarding the Futurity Class for the Pennsylvania All-American Dairy Show, and other dates pertaining to showing animals. It was with a great deal of pride that Ruth was able to announce that her brother, Jeff Benedict of Waynesboro, Franklin County, was named as Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Guernsey Boy Philip Wagner, extension service dairy specialist, continued the program by giving the following awards for DHIA records.
