THURMONT, Md. - The Maryland State Grange announced that two Frederick County Youth will be serving as Grange Royalty for 1981. Princess Andrea Myers of Thurmont Grange and Prince Scott Wiles of Glade Valley Grange in Walkersville will be representing the State Grange at various banquets, conferences and affairs throughout their reign Myers and Wiles will be at tending the 115th National Grange Session next November in Spokane, Washington and will be competing for national titles Scott A Wiles, 16, is the son of Mr & Mrs Maurice Wiles of Walkersville Scott has been a member of Glade Valley Grange 2 X/ 2 years and was a charter Tractor safety course set NORRISTOWN - The Mon tgomery County Extension Service will offer a tractor safety cer tification course for area youth Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, all 14 or 15 year olds who plan to be employed off the home farm and will be involved in operating a tractor of over 20 PTO horse power, must have evidence of satisfactory completion of such a course before they can be em ployed. Grange names new royalty member of Glade Valley Junior Grange Scott served as Junior Master in 1978 and Maryland State Junior Grange Prince. He was recently elected Assistant Steward of Glade Valley Grange for the third con secutive year. He is co-youth chairman of his local grange and is also on the cemetery, safety and community show committees Scott has served as Pombna (county) and state youth officers Scott has attended several National Grange sessions also. Wiles, a junior at Walkersville High School, has been very active in the Walkersville Future Far mers of America Chapter.
