Shine Tuesday announced a February 1981 base milk price of $14.18 per hundredweight and an excess milk price of $l2 57. The weighted average February price is $l4 07 and the butterfat differential for the month is 16 9 cents The base milk price in creased six cents from the previous month and is $1.13 higher than last February’s base price. The advertising withholding rate, which is deducted from the base and excess milk price only and not the weighted average price, was 13 cents a hun dredweight this month compared to seven cents a year ago.
