The exhaust, fuel, and electrical systems must be sound. Make certain, too, that the fuel tank filler cap fits properly and that the vent is open. Do not use non standard caps or makeshifts. Check with your dealer with respect to carburetor ad- justments, timing, coolant temperatures, and such if you are not getting adequate per formance. A 90-10 mix should work satisfac torily with little change in engine tune, but blends with a higher percentage of alcohol may require some carburetor and ignition modification for maximum efficiency. Locate gasohol storage tanks where they are not exposed to the sun. Better yet. Jester suggests, have them underground. Avoid aluminum components in any part of the fuel storage and delivery system. Be sure venting is free, and watch for leaks. Inspect the engine fuel system for leaks before each work day. Do not remove the gas cap when the engine is running or hot. When taking the cap off, turn it slowly, and don’t completely remove it until you are certain that no fuel will erupt from the tank. Observe the usual safe practices when handling gasohol. Turn off the engine and-allow it to cool. Do not smoke. Avoid pouring gasohol or refueling near sources of ignition. Do not store gasohol in glass, or flimsy metal Con tainers. Keep small quantities only, in ap proved safety cans marked Gasohol, in a well-ventilated place. sfSh SL I'M NOT L10N... The Classified Livestock Section Has Beastly Selections!
