Martin, R 1 Ephrata, is a dairyman with 48 registered Hclstems. He farms 120 acres. Backing up Martin as president-elect is Clark R Stauffer, R 1 Ephrata Stauffer is a beef and swine farmer with 100 head of cattle and 110 sows in a &r.. * gjv |r.^ f AREA CHAPTER The Ephrata Area Young Farmers Association elected officers for the 1981 year Tuesday night. They are: (seated) Gerald R Martin of R 1 Ephrata, president; Philip Leminger of R 2 Denver, secretary, (standing) Clark R Stauffer of R 1 Ephrata, vice president: Gary Ebelry of R 1 Stevens, public relations director: and Ray Beyer of R 4 Lititz, treasurer farrow-to-fmish operation. He farms 110 acres including rented ground Ray W. Beyer, R 4 Lititz, was named treasurer He operates an 80 acre dairy and milks 60 cows New secretary is Philip Lemmger, R 2 Denver. A self-employed salesman, Lemmger sells Ag-baggers and farms 50 acres on the side Public relations director for the coming year will be Gary Eberly, R 1 Stevens. He works as a landscaper at Stauffers of Kassel Hill in addition to being involved in ’ r. * i < a poultry operation with his brother and father. Members of the Ephrata Area Young Farmers Association will hold their 12th annual banquet on Saturday, February 7, at 6 45p.m The meeting will be held at the Durlach-Mt Airy Fire Hall and will feature Ken Hussar, a humerous speaker and entertainer In addition the group will present its poultry, beef, hog, dairy and crops awards and will hold formal in stallation of the new officers listed above ?
