Though this dream has not been realized, he has reached the goal of receiving the Keystone Degree Glenn, the seventeen year old son of Mark and Alice Yoder, has been a member of the Grassland FFA Chapter for four years During those years he has had projects in beef finishing, swine breeding, corn and gram He also served on the Conduct of Meetings Committee, Recreation Committee, Banquet Committee and the Executive Committee Glenn has served as vice president, and has received the Beef Finishing Foun dation Award, the chapter chain gilt, a place as delegate to the National FFA Convention, and the Red Rose Degree. He was a member of the second place Penn State Invitational judging team and the state winning parliamentary procedure team this year. High School Jay Zimmerman of R 1 New Holland has been named a Keystone Degree winner Jay, the son of Amos and Marian Zimmerman, has been a member of the Grassland FFA Chapter for four years During that tune he has become involved in many activities. Some of them are hog fmismg, work experience at Miles W Fry Jay Zimmerman and Son Nursery, earnings and savings committee, executive committee and banquet committee. This young man,who has served as chapter treasurer, earned the Ag Mechanics Foundation Award, the Horticulture Nursery Foundation Award and the County Red Rose Degree Jay also enjoys photography and hunting In the future he plans to get a job at an equipment business or maintenance shop and to take some adult education classes MELVIN HOFFER Elizabethtown Area High School Melvin Hoffer, a 1980 graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School, has been named a Keystone Degree Farmer Melvin lives on a 103 acre dairy farm with his parents, Melvin and Violet Hoffc.
