those 4-H’ers who had ex
celled in the 1980 program.
The “1 Dare You Awards”
were presented to six young
people as a challenge to
them to continue the high
quality of performance they
have shown and stimulate
the leadership potential they
have within themselves.

National 4-H Program.
Miss Hobaugh had been
previously selected as
the State Winner for
1980.

Keystone winners were
announced by Helen Rex. Six
young women were cited and
they are. Karen Hobaugh,
Hanover, in Veterinary
Science, Joan Todt,
Hanover, in Agriculture;
Cindy Wilson, Biglerville, in
Recreation; Joyce Zepp,
New Oxford, in Dairy Foods;
Roxanne Kump, Biglerville,
in Safety; Jody Sherman,
Abbottstown, in Horse.
Miss Rex also announced
the three State Winners in
the National Awards
Program. They include;
Joyce Zepp from New Ox
ford in Dairy Foods; Karen
Hobaugh from Hanover in
Veterinary Science; Kathy
Durboraw from Gettysburg
a special award from the
Foley Manufacturing
Company in Food and
Nutrition.
