i Youth honored at 4-H Achievement Night BY MARY MYERS Staff Correspondent GETTYSBURG - Parents, leaders, and guests gathered at St. James Lutheran Church to honor those 4-H’ers who had ex celled in the 1980 program. The “1 Dare You Awards” were presented to six young people as a challenge to them to continue the high quality of performance they have shown and stimulate the leadership potential they have within themselves. Karen Hobaugh, Hanover, in Veterinary Science, Joan Todt, Hanover, in Agriculture; Cindy Wilson, Biglerville, in Recreation; Joyce Zepp, New Oxford, in Dairy Foods; Roxanne Kump, Biglerville, in Safety; Jody Sherman, Abbottstown, in Horse. Miss Rex also announced the three State Winners in the National Awards Program.
