Frey bull is reserve LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Fred C. Frey & Sons, Quanyville, exhibited the reserve grand champion Angus bull of the 1981 National Angus Show, held here November 17-18 m conjunction with the North American International Livestock Exposition. Judge Jake White, of Panama, Oklahoma, tagged Continental as Reserve Senior Champion before awarding him the reserve grand champion banner. The bull is co-owned with Con tinental Associates, Phelps, New York. After evaluating 65 bulls, White declared Sir Wins Warrant Senior and Grand Champion. Warrant, last year’s national intermediate champ, is owned by Quirk Land & Cattle Co., Hastings, Nebraska, and Lovana Farms Inc., Clarkesville, Georgia. R&J Duchess 1239, Junior Champion, captured the top female title. His Greencrest Farms at Umonville is well known throughout breeding circles. Woolever has been active as an Angus leader for many years, having served as president of the Missouri Angus Association, the Northeast Missouri Angus Association and the Sheridan Valley Angus Association. Woolever was elected to the board of directors of the American Angus Association in 1975. Charles Cannon was selected as the Association’s new vice president.
