met at the home of Alice
Trumbauer, - Ephrata,
Saturday, November 15
Thirty-five members were
present as well as several
visitors and former mem
bers
During the meeting, Mrs
Hollmger, chairman of the
social service committee,
distributed lap robes to be
finished by the members for
nursing home patients
Members will give a
contribution of $5O for
Christmas gifts to the
Mental Health Association
and a $5O contnubtion to
Lancaster Association for
Retarded Citizens
Members will visit shut-in
members and sing Christ
mas carols on December 17
They will meet at the
Cloister Diner, Ephrata at 6
p.ra.

October 30.
Each member answered
roll call by telling their
favorite fall scene
Two new farm women
societies have been formed,
making the total 32 now.
The society will visit
Conestoga View on January
15
A contribution was given
to Quarryville Library and
also Meals on Wheels.

Stoltzfus on November 12 at

A "Show and Tell” item
was brought by each
member, which was shown
as she responded to the roll
call. Refreshments were
served by our hostesses,
Marion Rohrer, Mildred
Herr and Martha Herr.
Mike Martin showed in
teresting slides of Germany
and many other European
countries visited during the
tune he served as a summer
missionary in Germany
under World Wide European
Fellowship
Miriam Leaman and
Pauline Stoltzfus were in
stalled as president and Ist
vice president, respectively,
for 1981 and 82
Nora Herr will be installed
as 2nd vice president at a
later meeting. Gladys
Esbenshade was elected
county treasurer at the
county convention held
November 1 at the Farm and
Home Center.
A dinner meeting will be
held December 6 at the
Hershey Farms Restaurant,
after which will be the
Christmas Show at the Sight
& Sound Auditorium

Graeff of Sinking Spring,
who gave a demonstration
on dried flower
arrangements.

The women donated many
presents for the bingo
Berks Heim wants
Christmas cookies for

The women will meet at
the Christmas Village at 7
p.m. and tour it From there
they go to the Mable Strunk
home for their meeting.
Each member is to bring a
Christmas present for a gift
exchange.

truck ” Both women are

Matthews Lutheran Church
in York
The next meeting will be
