HARRISBURG - King Tut, a Chianma x Angus crossbred steer was crowned grand champion at the Dauphin County 4-H Beef Roundup, held at the Farm Show Complex on Monday. , The big, black steer, shown by Kaye Sweigard of Kaye Sweigard, Rl Halifax, exhibited her crossbred steer, King Tut, to the Dauphin County 4-H Roundup grand championship. The reserve grand champion steer was shown by Dwayne Messick, Elizabethtown. Judging the show was Penn State's beef herdsman, Don Nichols. Rick Baker, R 2 Elizabethtown, was selected as the top showman in the Senior Division. The winning rtermediate showman was Monique Sweigard, R 1 Halifax. Sweigard shows grand champ steer RI Halifax, displayed the right balance and volume of muscling according to show judge and Penn State beef herdsman, Don Nichols.
