New Castle youth elected officers NEW CASTLE, De. - County 4-H Jr. Council recently elected officers for the 1980-81 year. Tracey Green, a member of the Hill & Dale 4-H Club in Newark, was elected president. During the past year, Tracey has served as an area chairman for the County 4-H Horse Show and has been instrumental in planning various county 4-H events. She is presently serving as a junior leader of her local club. Working heavily in the photography project, Curtis has served as county photographer at county 4-H events and is presently teaching a photography class to the Brown Boys Club, Wilmington. Serving as secretary for the organization will be Debbie Stradley of Mid dletown. Debbie is serving Lancaster Farming, Saturday, November 8,1980—D19 as president of the Ever Ready 4-H Club. Debbie recently won a trip to National 4-H Club congress to be held in Chicago. Kim Moore, a past president and member of the Porter Gang 4-H Club is serving as treasurer. Kim is also an active member of the University of Delaware 4-H Club. Cindy Passmore, a member of the Ever Ready 4-H dub of Middletown was elected to represent New Castle County at the State 4- H Advisory Committee. The 4-H Junior Council consists of officers and junior leaders from all of the clubs in New Castle County. This group of young people are responsible for planning carrying out various county activities. Major projects for the upcoming year include a leadership training weekend, a camping weekend for young mem bers, county horse show and an exchange trip with another state.
