During the stiff com petition, several Penn sylvania horsemen came out' of the show arena leading champions in their respective breeds. Bill Dickerson, New Hope, Bucks County, exhibited the grand champion Quarter Horse Stallion. His entry, Round Sir Frederic, was the first place three-year-old. The Swartz’ cham pion was “Band Leader,” winner of the four-year-or older class. “Story’s Showgirl,” a three-year-old mare, cap tured the grand champion Appaloosa mare title. A Clearfield County farm captured reserve champion honors in the 1980 Paint Horse Show.
