The six-year-old Holstein, competing in the aged cow class, went on from winning her class to capture grand champion female honors at the 1980 Eastern National Holstein Show last week. The reserve grand champion female, C Sun nydene Ned Ginger, was exhibited by Winter Place, of Winslow, Me. The first-place state herd was shown by the Pa. Holstein Association, of State College. Premier breeder and exhibitor of the show was Pinehurst Farms, of Sheboygan Falls, Wise. Round Oak Rag Apple Elevation, owned by Select Sires, of Plain City, Ohio, was named premier sire.
