She beamed when she recalled having an opportunity to shoot a muzzle-loader at the conservation camp. Tagging ducks at the Middlecreek Wildlife Refuge was also one of the things Pam enjoyed about the camp. While she was asked to return this year as a counselor, she declined the honor because the dates conflicted with Achievement Days. For the past three years, Pam has been a delegate at Penn State 4-H Days attending the leadership congress and acting as a 4-H reporter. Pam competed with 20 other girls in the senior queen contest and as the winner is looking forward to par ticipating in the local fair parades. Her commercial for 4- H which helped to win her crown was about 4-H dairy projects, and her judges question dealt with older teen boredom. ~ *■ »* AS*'* t Pam responded to the question about older teen boredom with a short speech recommending that the teen try being a junior 4rH leader. Pam herself is a junior leader in the wildlife category of the Penn Willow Club. Whether it’s taking calls at the school switchboard, participating as a junior leader in 4-H, or enjoying the great outdoors, Pam Goss is a girl who has her act together.
