*34—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, Saptambar 6,1980 GAITHERSBURG, Md. - Last week’s list of cham pions of the Montgomery County Fair was missing one important part, according to Pennsylvania sheep exhibitors who brought home some bophies the sheep show results. Two Pennsylvania breeders captureo the grand championships m the Open Dorset and Shropshire shows. Suzie and Bob Leib, owners of Shepherds Crook Farm, Mechanicsburg, took both grand championships in the Dorset competition with their ewe and ram entries. The champion Shropshire ewe was exhibited by a Charles and Barbara Platt, from Gettysburg. In the Suffolk competition, Troy Ness, Dallastown, showed the champion ram. Shropshire ram.' In the 4-H competition, Carol Irvine once again had the champion Cheviot ewe and ram. The champion Dorset ewe was shown by Sue Coleman, Boyds, Md., while Joseph Hagerty, Clarksburg, Md. exhibited the champion Dorset ram. Jeff Hagerty tied up the championship ribbons in the Shropshire classes.
