Project installation crew leader Herb Marzolf will open the senes in September with a two-evening session on low-cost “breadbox-type” pre-heating tanks. The workshop is intended to give the participants a sufficient understanding of the devices to build one at home. Marzolf will direct the class in the theory and ac tual construction of the solar water pre-heater. Pre-heaters can be built very cheaply, from simple equipment. The low cost makes its performance very cost-effective. Herb Marzolf has been working with these systems for several years, and has installed a number of them around the County for the Solar Project. His ex perience covers a variety of designs, and his discussion will explore the variations that are possible. The workshop will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 23-24, from 6-10 p.m. each evening. There is no fee, but pre-registration is required by calling 291-1051 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. i h- U- 1 i f*-- , ' *yersafite ing The Industry Over 20 Years Ser Class size will be limited. __ Seminars will be held at r-xfCXtn I the Project Warehouse [Mill I■( ■■ Workshop, at 127-133 N M »■»1I U 1 1 M Concord St. m Lancaster.
