A2S—Lancaster Farming, Satunlay, August l9BO Shaw animals sweep Kutztown Holstein show BY LAUREL SCHAEFFER Staff Correspondent KUTZTOWN Nineteen year old Wendy Shaw, a second year student nurse, took the limelight in grand style at the recent Holstein Show of the Kutztown Fair as her show string dominated the entire affair. Missing only the Junior Champion title when a senior yearling, owned by Connie Ohlinger, Mohrsville placed before her own, Wendy remained to be named to the Reserve Junior Champion title. Honors presented to Wendy’s herd included Reserve Senior and Reserve Champion as well as Senior and Grand Champion titles. The reserve champion was a two year old named WS Linden-Loch Milu Sulee wmle the Grand Champion was a four year old named WS Linden-Loch Matt Dolly. This champion was sired fay No Na Me Fond Matt and produced over 18,000 pounds milk and 800 pounds fat for her last record. Wendy presently owns about 15 cows which are now milking and several heifers and calves. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Shaw, Oley.
