Herr also exhibited the reserve champion Dorset ram. He ranked second m the Senior ram lamb class, standing behind the champion Dorset and first place Senior ram. Handling the entries for William E. Yoder of Kutz town, Herr pulled both the Shropshire ram and ewe entry to the top of the line. The Berks County sheep swept the Shropshire championships. Yoder’s Junior ram placed first in his class before taking the breed championship. The ram lamb’s dam was champion at the 1979 Ohio Invitational Sale, according to Yoder Yoder’s other l walked away with the Champion Shropshire Ewe Lamb honors after placing first m her Junior class. Sired by the same ram as her stablemate, the ewe lamb was out of the reserve champion ewe at the 1979 Ohio Invitational. Both the WEY ram and ewe lamb champs were twins. The reserve champion honors in the Shropshire breed went to another Pennsylvania sheep breeder.
