C22—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, July 19,1980 PR and grooming workshops held for dairy princesses NEWARK, Dd. - The Tri- State Dairy Princess Training Seminar was held here at the University of Delaware July 8 and 9 for the 1980 Princesses from New Jersey, Delaware and . Maryland. Twenty-nine princesses and fourteen ' adults attended the two-day seminar to hear many professional people present topics co-ordinated by Joyce Graybill from the Atlantic Dairy Association Federal Order 4. Dick Norton, David Baker and Joyce Graybill, all from F.O. 4, began the seminar with an overview of the promotional aspects of the Dairy Princess program for the dairy industry. Pointers on presenting an effective milk and dairy product demonstration were given by Roy Porter from the University of Maryland. Public speaking and nutrition guidelines were handled by Susie Richburg, Maryland Milk Producers Cooperative, and Debbie Dozzon from D.C. Upper Chesapeake Bay. Personal grooming workshops took up much of the second morning’s schedule. Hair care was discussed by Suzanne An none, Rape-of-the-Locke. Poise was the subject of Helen J.
