Lancaster Farming, Saturday, June 21,1 14 FFA’ers graduate at West Snyder YORK On June 5, fourteen members of the West Snyder FFA were graduated from West Snyder High School. The following are members of the class: Lisa Shrrey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shirey. Lisa was the Salutatorian of the class. She also won the honor of the outstanding senior Vo Ag student, the Dekalb Award. Lisa lives on a dairy farm and her plans are to attend Penn State and major in ag education. Lisa's leadership activities include Student Council and vice-president of the FFA Chapter. Karl Aikey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Aikey. Karl was active m school sports, such as soccer, basketball and baseball. His plans are to attend Elizabethtown College and major in business administration and accounting. Mike Balatmcz, son of Mr and Mrs. John Balatmcz. Mike is presently employed at the Selmsgrove State Hospital farms as a school work release student. Jacqueline Beaver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Richard Moyer Jackie’s projects consist of dairy calves. She was very active in dairy shows. Her plans include working on the farm and working at Keister’s Auction Bam Mike Bubb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bubb. Mike’s project include work ex perience on the Frank Hartzler Farm. His plans are to attend Williamsport Area Community College and major in diesel mechanics. Jerre Etzler, son of Mr and Mrs. James Etzler Jerre’s project consisted of beef cattle. Chuck’s project consisted of breeding and finishing rabbits. Dennis Wright, son of Mr and Mrs. Richard Wright Dennis’s project consisted of work experience on the Larry Fry dairy farm. His plans for the future are to continue working with Larry Fry.
