annual pje-harvest outlook
meeting sponsored by
PennAg Industries

Farm tour held
BALTTMORE, Md. - In
their continuing effort to
keep up to date on farming
operations, the Board of
Directors of the Farm Credit
Banks of Baltimore recently
completed their 16th annual
spring tour.
The Baltimore District of
the national Farm Credit
System makes loans for
agricultural purposes in
Delaware, Maryland,
Pennsylvania, Virginia,
West Virginia, and Puerto
Rico. This year’s tour took
the Board to farms and
agricultural cooperatives in
the southeastern quadrant of
Pennsylvania.
Family-owned farms
visited included such diverse

Steiger Tractor, Inc., Fargo,
have announced renewal of
their manufacturing
agreement.
Under the agreement,
which extends present
production activities and
becomes effective
November 1, Steiger will
continue to produce In
ternational Harvester’s high
horsepower tractors for two
more years.
Steiger Tractor, in which
International Harvester
holds 36 percent equity
ownership interest, has
produced several four-wheel
drive tractor models for
International Harvester
since 1973. Under the con
tractual agreement, Steiger
will continue to produce

Stops along the way
enabled the District Board to
meet with the General
Managers and Directors of
several of Pennsylvania’s

These meetings provided
the tour participants with
further insight into the
state’s agricultural en
vironment and credit needs.
The Board currently plans
to tour parts of Virginia in
the spring of 1981.

LEBANON - The Cedar
Crest FFA held its officer
election for 1980-1981
recently. Newly elected
officers are: Steven Wenger,

Mark Patches, reporter;
Dave Ludwig, sentinel;
Jerry Boyer, parliamen
tarian; Dale Zuck,

Juliani, assistant reporter;
