The soybean development order is the basis of establishing a self help program managed by soybean producers. Through a check-off, funds can be collected to assist such functions as education, research, production and market development relating to soybeans. Soybean producers are encouraged to participate in the drafting of the development order by contacting their Board members during April. After the preliminary order has been drafted, a senes of public hearings will be held to encourage further producer participation.
