Already a number of Congressmen who get copies for free distribution are up in arms about the book’s ap proach Some say they aren’t even going to mail it out And some USDA critics say the yearbook only adds to the mounting evidence that the Department has forgotten why it exists and who it should be serving Included in the book’s eight sections are A look at the history of food and eating, with some rather strange etiquette of early days, a farm tour conducted by a 12-year-old farm boy, a trip to the supermarket and other places to buy food, the GUARDIAN...
