The speaker for the meeting will be Dr. John Hurtgen, Veterinarian from the University of Penn sylvania’s New Bolton Center, where he is the swine reproduction specialist. Dr. Hurtgen recently spoke at the Keystone Pork Congress on managing replacement gilts. He will be talking on sow, gilt, and boar selection, and breeding herd management. One half of the program will be devoted to a* question and answer period.
