UNIVERSITY PARK - College of Agriculture students at Penn State are sharing over $64,000 m scholarships and awards for 1979-1980. The total of $64,011 is up 14 per cent over last year, it was announced during the annual recognition banquet held recently on campus. Honored were winners and donors of 166 business and m dustry scholarships, memorials, and awards. Eight new scholarships were acknowledged. The Chester D. Dahle Memorial Scholarship is presented to an outstanding senior in food science. The David R. Mc- Clay Scholarship is available to students in agricultural education. Students in forest science now have the James Clinton Bums Scholarship. The William T. Butz Memorial Scholarship has been established for students in agricultural economics. Students in food science may compete for the Michael J. Daly Scholarship.
