He was chaplain in his sophomore year; reporter in his junior year; and president in his senior year. Last year, Kenneth was named the local Star Agri- Business student. Prior to earning the Keystone Degree, Kenneth received the Greenhand and Chapter degrees. As a FFA project, Kenneth has bought a dairy herd consisting of four Holstems. He also has a three year old Guernsey cow. After graduation, Kenneth will continue to work on a farm owned by Ronald Lentz. BRETT R. EBERLY Eastern Lebanon County High School Brett R. Eberly, the 17 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Raeu L. Eberly will receive the Keystone Degree during special ceremonies on January 9. The award will be given at the FFA State Convention m the Forum building. Brett has been a member of the Eastern Lebanon County FFA Club for four years. Brett is mvolved with his beef breeding and finishing project. He also has a broiler project. lie hopes to build each of these projects into Brett R. He was named the Star Chapter Farmer, Star County Farmer, and has earned both the beef and poultry production awards. Presently, Brett is serving as the County treasurer, and is president of the Elco FFA Chapter. Brett was the treasurer, and assistant chaplain of his Chapter. Brett is also the president of the Fort Zellers 4-H Club, and is a member of the Lebanon County 4-H Livestock Club. In his spare time, Brett likes to hunt, fish and trap animals. Susan L. Heilinger SUSAN L. HEILINGER Eastern Lebanon County High School Susan L. Heilinger, Lebanon County FFA president, will receive her Keystone Degree at the FFA Winter Convention next week. She is the 16 year old daughter o£ Mr. and Mrs. Richard Heilmger of R 2 Newmanstown. As a four year member of the ELCO FFA Chapter, Susan has been the Chapter secretary and vice president. She has also served as the County Secretary. <- * £ *||i Call Us For Your Chemical Needs Her list of FFA honors includes Star Greenland, Chapter Fanner, the County Production Credit award, and dairy and crop production awards. She has earned Home and Farm Improvement, and Or namental Horticulture honors. Susan has participated in the State FFA Band for three years. Her FFA projects have included veal calves, a dairy calf and dairy cows. She has also produced com and hay field crops as an FFA In addition to her FFA involvements, Susan is active in the 4-H Clubs in Lebanon County. She is the treasurer of the Elco Dairy 4-H Club, secretary of the Fort Zeller 4-H Club, and vice - president of the Lebanon County 4-H Teen Council. Susan is a member of the American Guernsey Cattle Breeding Association and serves as secretary of the Lebanon County Junior Holstein Club. In 1978, Susan became a member of the Who’s Who Among American High School Students. Next Fall, Susan will be attending Penn State University, Berks campus, majoring in General Agriculture. DENISE KRAUSE Lebanon County Vo-Tech Denise Krause is am bitious. She has already begun her own independent business as a wedding floral designer. Denise studied the hor ticulture at the Lebanon County Vo-Tech School. As the Chapter’s FFA member, Denise has been recognized as the Star Horticulturist. Her awards have also included the Dekalb Award, and she has taken first place in the State’s Conservation Public Speaking Contest.
