Heifers were 25-75 cents higher. Cows closed 2.00-3.00 higher, and bulls were steady. Four day receipts 11,900; compared 13,600 week ago; and 17,800 year ago. Fed cattle trading again followed a rather uneven pattern in view of an unresponsive carcass trade the forepart of week. Mid week trading was aggressive, however, as buyers competed for numbers on small available supplies. Yield grade was again a major price determining factor with best demand for choice with a minimal number of yield grade 4. Some cattle carried a modest amount of mud which made dressing per centages uncertain. The overall finish was fairly attractive with a rather liberal percentage choice, although many con signments were mixed 3-4 yield grade. Slaughter Steers made up ap proximately 44 pet and heifers 29 pet. Cows com prised 13 pet and feeders 11 pet.
