The cow was a daughter of Oatland Montague 463 and a Back Acres consignment. Second top selling lot was lot 4, a Bellemonte bred female that sold to Calvin Murray, Mt. Airy, Md. for $1325. Her April “Linebacker” heifer calf activity dates Gitt, Paul Waybnght, Stanley Weimer, Robert Clowney, Carolyn Durboraw and Timothy Brown, Chairman. Special concern was expressed for the wash rack and water supply as well as conditions of the show ring. It was announced that an aged cow owned by Daniel Waybnght, R. 9, Gettysburg, has been named Reserve All- Pennsylvania Aged Cow for 1979. The board set tentative dates for future activities; Adams County Dairy Princess Contest will be Saturday, June 14, 1980.
