Grange Ag committee
NOTTINGHAM - Jesse
Wood, R 2 Nottingham, has
been named the new
chairman of the Penn
sylvania State Grange’s
Agriculture Committee.
The Lancaster Countian
will have responsibility for
administering the Grange’s
agricultural policy making
procedure for the coming
year.
State Grange Master
Charles Wxsmer said he
thinks Wood will do a good
job in the position because of
Wood’s background in~
agriculture and his ex
perience in local politics.
He has served for three
years on the Lancaster
County Farmers Home
Administration committee,
and was chairman of the
Community Committee of
theASCS.
He has served on the State
Grange Agriculture Com
mittee since 1974.
In local government he

Inc. delegate, and a member
of the Pittsburgh Food and
Nutrition Dairy Council.
He has been a member of
the Washington County
Extension Executive
Committee for 12 years. He
also has served on loca
ASCS committees.

She has learned to buy
good quality fabric on sale,
and invested m pressing
equipment, as well as a high

four years, she started a new
