LOUIS, Mo. - The American Soybean Association opposes establishment of a govern ment soybean reserve program. U.S. Department of Agriculture officials con tinue to consider such a program, as revealed in a statement by its chief economist at the USDA Nominations needed for Teacher-of-the-Year LANCASTER Nominations are being accepted for the seventh national “Conservation Teacher-of-the-Year” awa rds program according to Aaron Z. Stauffer, Chairman of the Lancaster County Conservation District. The competition is open to all full-time teachers working at the kindergarten through high school level who have developed an outstanding program of environmental education. The National Conservation Teacher of the Year will receive 11000 in cash and an expense paid trip to San Francisco, California for the 1981 Annual Convention of the National Association of Conservation Districts. The American Soybean Association favors a free market for soybeans which its members believe, in the long-run, will provide American soybean farmers with the greatest op portunity for a profitable market for their crop.
